In the interim, we will be meeting at Cafe Carousel at 699 Market St. near 3rd St.

Ok, all of our great presenters are at Comdex or doing hard labour over product launches so......
Its Demo Night at SFPUG. Come and get beamed!

There will be short presentations on new software, like iambic's html/doc reader, iambic Reader, DDH Software's new utility HanDbutton, JungleSoft's mobile info gateway, JunglePort and Roundpoint's one step publishing solution to all internet devices featuring transcoding technology.

Hey just come, to figure what the heck that means?!

Prizes:
We'll be raffling off the last generously donated copies of Paul Taylor's 5-star rated
Address +, the Original Address Book Replacement and Scott Maxwell's most excellent, QuikBudget software. Also in the mix is Orbit Industries, Stinger stylus, the tip for your taps and more....

A Note on Support

You should contact the manufacturer of your Palm OS device for support - Palm , Handspring, TRG, etc... You may also join SFPUG's mailing list and ask your questions to the group as a whole, or come to our monthly meeting and ask in person. However, do not send e-mail to SFPUG with your support questions, as these messages will not be answered.

We have a new location and Meeting time! Please note the changes.

When:

SFPUG meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
Our next meeting will be May 17, 2004.

Where:

We will be having meeting at Learn It! at 250 Montgomery St. just 2.5 blocks north of Market in San Francisco. Learnit provides a classroom style setting - and is only 2 blocks from Montgomery BART!

Who:

Our speaker will be Steve Oberhauser, Manager, Developer Marketing / User Group Marketing of PalmSource!! Steve will give a PalmSource Roadmap, talking about Cobalt and where PalmSource is going for the future. He'll also be answering questions, and the Raffle will include cool prizes.

Steve joined PalmSource in May 2002 and currently manages various developer and end-user marketing programs including the Palm OS User Groups, the PUG Newsletter, the Powered Up Awards (recognizing top Palm OS developers), and the Application Directory (a searchable online database of Palm OS software).

We're excited about having Steve and Palmsource to kick off our meetings in our new location!
